Using the DJI Matrice 4E’s high-resolution mapping camera and RTK positioning, I capture aerial imagery that’s processed into detailed 3D models, orthomosaic maps, and point clouds of job sites and structures. In construction and project management, these models let teams track earthwork volumes and progress against schedule, measure stockpiles and cut/fill accurately, spot design conflicts before they become costly, and give stakeholders a clear visual record of site conditions over time without repeated manual surveys.
